Kpop Fan Sign Experience - May 2016 ( Twice & IOI)

Again this is muh personal experience and it may differ from your personal experience

I will categorise the score into 4 category, which is Staff’s Strictness & Performance, Time allowed, Money Value, and Idol’s performances.

Staff’s Strictness & performance (SSP) will be how the staff doesn’t allow you to bring yr phone, slot in an extra photo card for signing, doesn’t allow you to do a lot stuff or just total freedom (1 = U can’t do anything, 5 = Reasonable, 10 = total freedom)

Time allowed (TA) will be how much time the staff allows you to spend with yr idol before rushing you to the next member and rushing u again and again. (1 = u will be rushed like they have a flight after the fansign, 5 = reasonable time given, 10 = have all the time you want)

Money Value (MV) will be how much you need to spend in order to enter the fansign depending on their fame and whether it is worth to go for the fansign** (New update from previous post) (1 = Not famous and expensive, 5 = Famous and expensive, 10 = Famous and cheap)

And lastly, idol’s performance (IP) is how much the idols show appreciation the fans or how much the idol shows that they wanna meet you and talk to  you.

Attendance will be the times I attended their fan signs.

Ladies Code

Attendance - 4 + 4

SSP – 9 > 6

TA – 4

MV – 8 > 7

IP – 10

The staff for ladies code is getting a lot stricter, you can't kneel down to talk to them face to face anymore, the staff will disturb you a lot if you take too long, overall very bad compared to last time.

Time allowed is just bad, as they rush everyone intensively and you will only have reasonably enough time to talk to the girls before being rushed away. If you refuse, they will disturb you until u move

Its superbly cheap to go for a Ladies code fansign, they are not famous and 1 album will do.

The girls however, were still as good as they were last time, they will strike a lot conversations to talk to you, and show a lot appreciation towards me. Zuny can be a little quiet at times, but if you have things to say to her, she will reply and keep the conversation going. SoJung and Ashley, we kinda just talk like friends now. lol They even remembered me from like.. 2 years back?

Starship fansigns, I would just wanna say its the best ever, they even added chairs time to time so you can seat and talk to the girls comfortably. No complains here at all

Time allowed is just crazy, they always sign 3 hours to 3.45 Hours. like WHAT?!?!? you get to talk so much to the girls, that I don't even need to write letters to them. this is way beyond the 10s i gave last time that.. they deserve a 13 rating maybe? lool

You need like 3-5 albums to see a rookie group though, on the outside, it seems expensive, but DUDE? you get to like sign 20-30 Minutes man? and the girls.... read next part? lol

The girls? they are ALLL awesome... ok maybe not all.. but well.. 12 girls.... even most of them doing well is good enough. lol They will ALWAYS try their best to talk to you even if you have nothing to talk to them, Maybe not all, 2-3 of them might just stone time to time, but nevertheless they will still talk at least to a minimal level while the others will ALWAYS, ALWAYS think of things to talk to you, even if you have nothing to say. People always say you have to prepare things to talk to your idols? if you're coming for WJSN, forget that. lol I love them a lot due to this as they take A LOT of effort to show they have interest in their fans. Imagine guys, I went to 13 fansigns, wont they run out of things to say? NOPE! The girls also put a lot effort in remembering their fans, like most of them already know me 2 fansigns in, and by the 3rd fansign, 2 of them already know me by name.

Its pretty strict, no kneeling down, no bringing yr camera up and its freaking annoying to go to their fansign.. WHY? well because we can't kneel down and talk to them face to face, so sometimes i bow muh head down so I can listen and talk to them as their fansigns are open to public and kinda noisy? NOPE STAND UP STRAIGHT. WTF? you think im gonna lick the girls now? like seriously cube?
WOW.. just WOW. And if you take too long? they are gonna pull yr album away. Seriously?

Time allowed is just plain ridiculous, maybe I am spoilt so bad by other groups? I dont find their timing acceptable at all.. rushing and pushing yr album away. like... wow

Well its a Cube girl group that is pretty famous for a rookie and you need 1 album to get in. ezez but the staff are so annoying, i doubt its worth paying for it

The girls are still good thou, as Elkie is new, we kinda have nothing much to say time to time, i cant give them a 10 because they do not have enough time to get the 10, its totally not their fault. The girls are fun to talk to, you can joke around a lot with them but just... every time the staff disturbs me... it turns me off. Unfortunate really...

OMG

WM Fansigns are also one of the best, they also give u chairs and give u a lot of times to talk to the girls with minimal restriction. No complain here too.

Time allowed is Amazing, they always sign for like 3 hours and you can talk as much as you want with them!

You need like 5 albums to see them as their popularity is very high, but i would say its totally worth it as you get to spend a lot time with the girls

The girls are also pretty amazing as they will try their best to talk to you, and try their best to steal you over if your favourite member is not them! LOL. Overall, every single member is very good and fun to talk to, they will always have things to talk to you and minimal awkward moments, Maybe Jine can be quiet sometimes, but she does great sometimes too. Their memory however are.. kinda lacking.. none of them remember muh name after 3 fansigns, and HyoJung especially always remember things wrongly and always cover up her mistakes.. lol Its kinda cute~

Berry Good

JTG is famous to be a great company, unfortunately, the company is small and no one knows them. But yeah no restriction, the staff from the CD Stall was quite annoying for both fansigns, but still ignorable

Time allowed was very good as they signed for 3 hours for the 1st fansign and 2 hours for the second.

1 album for a 3 hours fansign... worth it? Definitely

The girls are also amazing, except for seoyul which was quite shy on the first fansign, the others all talk to you a lot. Script preparation is minimal with them, they will always try their best to talk to you. They are kinda new to fansigns and don't know what to do sometimes, but they are still great nevertheless. They will also recognises their fans easily as they do not have a lot fans yet.

Twice

JYP was famous for being one of the first to put chairs for fans at fansigns. So definitely one of the top, however, they don allow gifts for Twice, I don't know if it was the particular fansign i went or all fansigns.. but the staff rejected muh chocolates for twice... which... reduced their score a little. lol

Time allowed is very good, you get to talk almost everything you want with them. sometimes they rush a little when u take too long, but its all good. they sign around 2 hours each fansign with extra 30 minutes of talking in the end.

15 Albums for Twice fansign, Its reasonable as they are super famous.

So Twice is like the group I wanted to meet the most before this? and like everyone is telling me they are awesome, the best ever. im like wow.. this is gonna be amazing, BUT DAENG! The girls will hardly talk to you, maybe you can say language barrier exists with the Japanese ok fine, but the others hardly talk much too, even if you talk a lot with them, ask them a lot question, they will just "owh ok" " owh thanks" Like.... they made it hard for conversations to continue. The Best i would say were Dahyun,Tzuyu and JungYeon, as they were the only 3 that talked a lot and replied nicely but still.. if you have nth to say to them, they will just look at u awkwardly. Even muh favourite Nayeon, kinda didnt show interest at all when i was talking to her in the 1st fansign, she did however, do very well and talk a lot in the 2nd and 3rd fansign, but, the impact on the first was just way too much. The girls also seem to have problem remembering their fans, I went 2 days in a row but some of them seem to forget i came yesterday already. I went 3 times, and it was VERY consistent. I personally was very disappointed as they were like perhaps the biggest potential to be muh top group, i mean who don like twice now rite? lol

IOI

So the company was pretty good, not much restriction as i recalled, you can kneel and talk to them face to face. only no extra signatures. Pretty standard stuff, nth to complain

Time allowed is perfect too, they never rush anyone and signed for a total of 3 hours. It was really really good

Ok... they are crazy famous like... crazy and you need to buy like 40 albums to secure yr spot.. ok, maybe 40 wont even secure it, but i'd say its the best bet.

The girls though, were amazing, it was one of the best fansign Ive been to, almost every single members was fun to talk to, they will even start conversation with you if you were stucked or if you're nervous. Even members that didnt really get muh attention before this talked a lot with me and tried very hard to converse with me. They seem to appreciate their fans a lot, maybe well they are still in their "Trainee" mood? but they all were extremely friendly and fun to talk to. Muh favourite member even recognised me as i went to meet her for a short moment in the music show. I would have definitely love to attend more of their fansign, but unfortunately, its crazy expensive.

April

I guess most companies nowadays just up their game for fansigns, they provide chairs too. No funny restrictions. Definitely no complains here

Time allowed was a little quick compared to most other idols nowadays. they kinda rush you a little, but i'd say the time given is very reasonable.

You will need 2-3 Albums to get in to their fansign, its pretty cheap and the girls are worth it.

Well im gonna be honest and say that I only liked 1 member in April before fansigns, but after fansigns, I like all of them now. lol. Jinsol recognised me straight away as i attended few of their music show recording. Well being 14 years old, she is like extremely cute at everything she does? lol like... crazy cute. Other members will also try very hard to talk to you, except for Chaewon, she seem a little shy, but if you give her a topic and talk to her, it should break the ice and get her talking.


EunJi

Well no special restriction, no chairs but yre allow to stand or kneel as you wish. No complains here really.

Its a solo fansign, so they don really rush you, cuz you can only sign for 1 member and DONE? lol, you can kinda talk as long as you want.

You will need like 10-15 albums to get in the fansign, but hey, its Eunji! lol

Well Eunji is famous for Fan Service and I think if yre an Apink fan you should definitely know that? She plays with her fans, act as a mummy and scold fans that came to her fansign and didnt study as exams are near. Even let fans hug her, sing with her, I mean wow, anything man as long as yre not doing some weird stuff, im pretty sure she will be willing to do it with you.

Apink (Photobook Fansign)

Plan A Up their game! chairs are given to fans now! Amazing! No special restriction and therefore no complains!

Time allowed was a little fast though, they will kinda rush you after a while, but still a decent time to talk to them.

Apink is never cheap, but well they are famous, I bought around 4 photobooks to see them

Well its Apink, they are always amazing, all of them was like, long time no see, where have you been? Chorong even said like "i thought you abandon us already" LOL Why would I, silly Chorong. ahahhaha I went to see Namjoo during her schedule with Bomi, and she was like, i remember seeing you somewhere, you sure u didnt go see us at singapore concert? (I didnt) lol.
