In Korea and getting frustrated as you do not know what you
need to do to meet your idols? Well you came to the right place… I mean blog.
Lol. This would also help you if you’re planning to go Korea to hunt yr idols
down and need some guidance.
Well, the easiest way for you to see them is actually by
going to the music shows that you’ve been watching from your computer all the
while! Well I guess you know the Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo but they
actually have like 7 Music shows that you can actually attend. Awesome? And its
all FREE
This post will tell you roughly what you need to do and how
to get there, and similar to the fansign post, I will rate the music shows
based on how close are you to the idols (View-10 being close to the idols), How
easy is it to get in the show (Difficulty-10 being easy) and how far the
location is (Range-10 being near to the city).
Owh before that, you will need to be in the idol’s
fancafe/fanclub, to get information about the idol’s schedule. You can get more
information about that by googling about Daum café. For eg, if you’re a A Pink
fan, just google “A Pink Daum” and the fan café will appear, unfortunately its
fully in Korean and if you like them I guess you will need to at least know how
to read Korean? If not just google, how to join Daum café, im pretty sure there
are guides for you there. Anyways, if you can’t read Korean and too lazy to get
an account, the usual requirement for you to be in the fanclub will be buying
the current CD they are promoting and bring it to the music show. Here goes!
**Important to note that sometimes the venue will be changed
due to special events
Mondays – Simply Kpop
View – 10
Difficulty – 10
Range – 5
This is probably the least famous Music Show we kpop fans
know about but perhaps the best one to attend. Why? You’re freaking close to
the idols. Its on a weekday and less people will attend it, means less
competition, better view
Difficulty? It’s easy to get in as it is held on a weekday
where people need to go work and school and foreigners can register with the
website. I’ve never been denied entry before with the fanclubs and always get
to go in.
The only minor bad thing about it will be it is pretty far
from the other music shows but it’s not that far.
To get into the show you can either register with the
website itself (LINK) or get in with the idol’s fanclub.
Simply Kpop will be held fortnightly in Arirang TV. The
nearest Station to the location will be Nambu Terminal. Then you would either
have to take a Bus there, or you can walk there.
What time you need to be there? Schedules will be out in the
Arirang website few days before the recording. Arirang is not Live, so they do
not have a specific time for you to go.
Tuesdays – SBS MTV The Show
View – 10 (Pre Record) 6 (Live Show)
Difficulty – 8
Range - 10
This is also one of the least famous music show, which means
what? Yeap.. Closer view to see your idols especially on pre records. For the
live show, depending on your luck u might get a faraway seat or a standing
which is near to the stage. Overall, the hall is pretty small so even sitting
at the back gives u a decent view.
Its again on a weekday, so getting in is pretty easy as long
as you’re with a less famous idol. If you’re following a famous idol… your
entry might be denied as too many fans from the particular fanbase already went
in.
The location is very near to the other music shows, in fact
most of the music shows are located here.
To get in the show, you will need to get in with the idol’s
fanclub
The show will be held weekly in the SBS Prism Tower. The
Nearest Station to the location will be Digital Media City. Just get out of
exit 9 and walk straighttttt….
You will need to be there around 3pm-4pm as the show starts
at 6pm. The fanclub will need to get you sorted before you can enter the show.
Keep in mind that yr idol might be doing pre-record early in the morning, so if
you’re not in the fan café and do not know their schedule. U might wanna be
there 6am to not miss anything.
Wednesdays – MBC Show Champion
View – 10 (Pre Record) 8 (Live show)
Difficulty – 8
Range - 1
This show is held in a small hall where they only have
standings. No seats at all, so even if you’re at the back, its still pretty
close to the stage.
Getting in this show is also pretty easy unless you’re
following a famous idol.
Unfortunately, the show is held in one of the furthest
location that even the subway can’t get you there. So it’s pretty discouraging
for me to go. LoL
To get in the show, you will need to get in with the idol’s
fanclub
The show will be held weekly in MBC Dream Center. The Nearest Station to the location will be JeongBalsan. Just get out of exit 1 and follow the map?
You will need to be there around 3pm-4pm as the show starts
at 6pm. The fanclub will need to get you sorted before you can enter the show.
Keep in mind that yr idol might be doing pre-record early in the morning, so if
you’re not in the fan café and do not know their schedule. U might wanna be
there 6am to not miss anything.
Thursdays – Mnet Mcountdown!
View – 10 (Pre Record) 8 (Live show)
Difficulty – 7
Range - 10
Mcountdown is also held in a pretty small hall where it have
no seats. Therefore, your view will be pretty good regardless.
Mcountdown is one of the more famous music show and thus
more people will be going for it, making the entry slightly harder compared to
the previous two shows, but it is still pretty easy to get in as long as again,
you’re not following a famous idol.
Mcountdown is located where most of the music shows are, so
yeah good location!
To get in the show, you will need to get in with the idol’s
fanclub or you can line up with the general entrance line up. For the General
entrance line up, you will need to be there as early as possible and I even see
some people staying up all night for it. As early as possible will be like the
first train?
The show will be held weekly in the CJ E&M Centre. The
Nearest Station to the location will be Digital Media City.
Fridays – KBS Music Bank
View – 6
Difficulty – 1
Range – 8
Music Bank only have Seats, thus it is never near the stage.
When they only have seats, it means they have VERY VERY
limited space, sometimes you don’t even get in when you’re following the least
famous group. Entry is almost always
denied.
The location is not that far from the rest of the music
shows though
To get in the show, you will need to get in with the idol’s
fanclub
The show will be held weekly in KBS. The Nearest Station to
the location will be National Assembly. Just get out of exit 5 and follow the
map?
You will need to be there around 3pm-4pm as the show starts
at 6.30pm. The fanclub will need to get you sorted before you can enter the
show. Keep in mind that yr idol might be doing pre-record early in the morning,
so if you’re not in the fan café and do not know their schedule. U might wanna
be there 6am to not miss anything.
Saturdays – MBC Music Core
View – 8 (Pre Record) 5 (Live show)
Difficulty – 9
Range – 10 (Sangam)
Music Core pre records everyone together, so sometimes you
don’t get a good spot. Live show? The hall is perhaps the biggest of all music
shows, thus if you’re way back, you’re pretty far from the stage.
Well since it is a big hall, you almost always get to go in
even if you are with a famous idol.
Unfortunately, it is very far away like Show Champion
located in Ilsan, unless they do it in Sangam, which is where most music shows
located.
To get in the show, you will need to get in with the idol’s
fanclub
The Location will be MBC Sangam. The
Nearest Station to the location will be Digital Media City. Just get out of
exit 9 and walk straighttttt….
You will need to be there around 1pm-2pm as the show starts around
340pm. The fanclub will need to get you sorted before you can enter the show.
Keep in mind that yr idol might be doing pre-record early in the morning, so if
you’re not in the fan café and do not know their schedule. U might wanna be
there 6am to not miss anything.
Sundays – SBS Inkigayo
View – 10 (Pre Record) 6 (Live Show)
Difficulty – 1
Range - 7
View is pretty similar with the Show, as the hall is medium
sized and you can still get a decent view sitting way back.
However, getting in the live show is near imposible as it is
held on a Sunday where EVERYONE will go for it, and I mean everyone. Better
hope for a pre record if you wanna watch Inkigayo. LoL
The location …. Its pretty near to the rest of the music
show.
To get in the show, you will need to get in with the idol’s
fanclub
The show will be held weekly in SBS. The Nearest Station to
the location will be Gayang. Just get out of exit 10, turn left and walk
straight
You will need to be there around 12pm-1pm as the show starts
at 240pm.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am a fan of Brown Eyed Girls. So, it means that I should only bring their most recent CD and I can get into the show, even if I'm registered to the Daum Cafe ( I cannot read Korean to get registered )?
Any specific things are required to get into the show (ex.register forms), or just bringing the CD and that's enough requirements to enter?
**I am sorry for too much asking, I'm a foreigner, and it will be my first time to experience such a thing.
Wait so Mbc Mucore isn't at Jeongbalsan Line 2 anymore? I haven't been back in a little while
